Eligibility Requirements in Mexico
Gallagher Scholar candidates are citizens of Mexico who reflect academic achievement and evidence of leadership potential. Race, gender, and religion are not considered as factors in scholarship selection. Individuals selected as candidates for the Gallagher Scholarship meet the following criteria:
Gallagher Scholar candidates show evidence of a high level of ethical values, which include:
- Belief that progress can be achieved without violence
- Commitment to making a difference in their country
- Traits which align with the Gallagher Foundation Traits of Distinguished Leaders
Gallagher Scholar candidates posess and show evidence of academic excellence.
- Minimum GPA: 95
- Minimum PAA: 1400
Gallagher Scholar candidates must be admitted to Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM), Monterrey campus.
Gallagher Scholar candidates display evidence of leadership potential through their involvement in leadership activities including, but not limited to:
- Special projects
- Awards received
- Extracurricular activities
- Service work
Gallagher Scholar candidates come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds displaying evidence of financial need.
The Gallagher Foundation scholarship application includes four short essay questions and requires the following document uploads:
- Letter of Reference
- Prepatory School Results
- Proof of Income
