Gallagher Scholar candidates show evidence of a high level of ethical values, which include:

• Belief that progress can be achieved without violence 
• Commitment to making a difference in their country
• Traits which align with the Gallagher Foundation Traits of Distinguished Leaders

Gallagher Scholar candidates demonstrate academic excellence exidenced by:

• A minimum high school GPA of 95 (validated by Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus) 
• Admission to Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus with at least 1,400 points
• Admission into a professional degree program at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus with a maximum duration of 8 semesters

Gallagher Scholar candidates must be first year students at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus in the upcoming  school year, aged 17-20 years old.

Gallagher Scholar candidates display evidence of leadership potential through their involvement in leadership activities including, but not limited to:

• Special projects
• Awards received
• Extracurricular activities
• Service work

Gallagher Scholar candidates come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds displaying evidence of financial need.

• Candidates must qualify for 100% scholarship support by Tecnológico de Monterrey.
• Household income will be verified by the Tecnológico de Monterrey income verification process.

The Gallagher Foundation scholarship application includes four short essay questions and requires the following document uploads:

• Prepatory School Results
